The 2018 MAXIM Party produced by Karma International was once again the number one most-anticipated party, raising the bar during this milestone weekend of sports and over-the-top events in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 3rd. Powered by E11EVEN MIAMI, the world-class ultra-club, art, fashion, music and sports collided for the ultimate party experience with multiple interactive areas, live artistic vignettes, celebrity music performances by American musician Post Malone, DJ Marshmello, female rapper Cardi B, and production elements that included theatrical lighting, concert level sound, and several unique activations.

Post Malone, an American musician, is best known for his US Billboard Hot 100 single “Rockstar” and chart-topper “White Iverson”. Additionally, we had world-renowned EDM producer and deejay, Marshmello, perform many of his collaboration hits by Jack Ü, Zedd, Selena Gomez and more. A special performance by Cardi B also took place. The Bronx native is the first solo female rapper to top the charts in 19 years, having released several medleys including the infamous single “Bodak Yellow”, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

Brand partners included Rockstar Energy Drink who provided energizing sips, keeping guests hyped throughout the course of the entertaining affair. Captain Morgan, America’s number one selling spiced rum, was the official spirits sponsor of the event and supplied delicious specialty cocktails that were available for guests 21 years or older at each bar. America’s favorite beer and the official beer of the NFL, Bud Light, also offered refreshing world-renowned beer brands for all guests to enjoy. Finally, iconic French wine brand Luc Belaire provided drinks and guests also sipped on Belaire Champagne.

Minneapolis-based Polaris Slingshot, a bold three-wheeled roadster that delivers a ride like nothing else you’ve ever experienced, showcased its latest model. Known for its premier styling and exotic design, Slingshot took over and showcased its latest model while also allowing guests to hop in a Slingshot for a cover-worthy photo in the event’s experiential lounge.

Guests were also treated to a blu™ Tasting Room brought to you by blu, the pioneer in electronic cigarettes, showcasing an interactive blu-themed bar, where specialty cocktails inspired by the brand’s new ‘my blu™’ e-cig flavor lineup were offered. As a special bonus for all adult attendees (21+), the purchase of a ticket to The 2018 MAXIM Party included a 'my blu™ starter kit' and 5 packs of liquid pods. Adult attendees were encouraged to visit the blu™ Tasting Room in order to receive their starter kit and liquid pods.

First time participant, Altec Lansing was hosting a high fidelity deejay-driven VIP lounge featuring Altec Lansing’s latest headphones and portable speakers. The innovative audio brand demonstrated the Everything Proof line of speakers and waterproof headphones – perfect for unpredictable Super Bowl festivities and Gatorade showers alike.
